How To Take a Screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy A12
Samsung has included three different methods that users can use to take a screenshot on the Galaxy A12. The first method, which is also the most popular one, is the traditional way of pressing two hardware keys at the same time. The two other methods include Samsung’s own software to make it even easier.
1. Galaxy A12 Screenshot – Hardware Keys
The physical keys on the side of the phone are the first option for taking a screenshot on your Galaxy A12. This is the most commonly used traditional approach.
Grab your phone and simultaneously tap the power and volume down buttons. Wait until the screen flashes white before releasing the keys. This signifies that you’ve captured a screenshot. A little menu bar will appear at the bottom of the screen after the screen goes white. There will be three buttons on the menu. The first button allows you to crop and alter the image. The second and third buttons enable Scroll Capture and post the image on social media, respectively.
2. Galaxy A12 Screenshot – Palm Swipe to Capture
If the first approach fails due to broken buttons or another issue, you can use the “Palm Swipe to Capture” feature on your Galaxy A12 to take a screenshot. This is Samsung’s method, which does not necessitate the use of a mechanical button.
Go to Settings -> Advanced Features -> Motions and Gestures to enable Palm Swipe. There will be a capturing option called Palm swipe capture. By default, it is turned off. Toggle it on by tapping it. To snap a screenshot, swipe your hand across the screen. When the task is completed, the phone will vibrate to signal that it has been completed.
3. Galaxy A12 Screenshot – Assistant Menu
If you’re looking for something a little more user-friendly, consider Assistant Menu. If all of the hardware keys on your Galaxy A12 are broken and nothing else works, this is your last option.
Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity and tap on the Assistant menu to enable Assistant Menu. A little circle will appear on the screen. Press on the circle. A menu of choices will emerge. Select Screenshots from the drop-down menu. When the screen flashes white, it means a screenshot has been taken.
