How to Install APK in BlueStacks App Player

Bluestacks is an Android emulator that enables its you to play Android apps and games on Windows PC. Some people need it as a temporary Android device while some use it for testing apps and playing games. In this guide, we are going to show you how you can install APKs on Bluestacks, and run them like you are using your Android phones.

Installing APK in BlueStacks App Player

 

Before you start with any of the way listed below, make sure that you have Bluestacks installed on your Windows PC. If not, click here to download Bluestacks on your PC/laptop.

Step 1. Download the APK file which you wish to install in Bluestacks from the internet.

Step 2. Open the Bluestacks Android emulator on your PC/laptop.

Step 3. Click on the APK button which you will find on the sidebar.

Step 4. A dialog box will pop up on your screen. Use this box to browse to the location where you have downloaded the APK file.

Step 5. Once you find the APK file, click on it and then, click on ‘Open’ to install the APK file in Bluestacks.

Or you can also drag and drop the APK file on the screen of Bluestacks to begin its installation.

Or you can also right-click on the APK file and select ‘Open with‘ from the drop-down box and click on ‘Bluestacks‘ to install the APK file in Bluestacks.

Once the APK installs successfully, you will get to a shortcut icon on the home screen of Bluestacks. Double-click on either of the icons to run the installed app or game using Bluestacks on your PC/laptop.
